Research Topics

In our laboratory, rather than relying solely on experiments, we are challenging ourselves to develop methods that predict chemical reactivity beforehand by merging computational chemistry and machine learning (AI).
Currently, our research focuses on the following two main themes:

Reaction Mechanism Analysis via
Computational Chemistry

Simulating chemical reactions computationally
Elucidating invisible reaction pathways and mechanisms for advanced material synthesis

Material Synthesis via Machine Learning (AI)

Fusion of 「AI」 × 「Material Science」: Aiming for novel material design and synthesis through a data-driven approach
